Catalog# Product Description	ICP9820 Affinity purified rabbit anti-phospho-threonine antibodies are conjugated to d-biotin via N-acetylation. The conjugates are useful for detection, identification and quantization of threonine-phosphorylated proteins and peptides.

Specificity	The antibody is pan-specific against phospho-threonine. It cross reacts with phospho-serine slightly but does not cross-react with phospho-tyrosine.

Scientific Description	Threonine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids used for the biosynthesis of proteins. Kinases phosphorylate threonine to form phospho-threonine which is considered a key step in the regulation of enzymatic activities such as signal transduction.
