Phosphoserine Antibody, HRP
Catalog#
Product Description
|
ICP9904
The affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-phospho-serine (anti-pS) was developed using phospho-serine-KLH conjugates and a phospho-protein mixture as the immunogen. The phospho-serine specific antibody was affinity purified with serine-phosphorylated peptide immobilized to agarose. The affinity-purified anti-pS was conjugated to peroxidase (HRP) by reductive amination. Direct application of the primary conjugates will avoid non-specific signals, particularly due to the antibody signal on Western blot analysis of IP's with antibodies from the same species.

Scientific Description
|
Serine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids. Kinases phosphorylate serine to form phospho-serine, which is responsible for various signalling processes in eukaryotes. [1]
