Catalog# Product Description |
ICP9805 The antibody is raised using the immunogenic conjugate phospho-tyrosine linked to KLH. The pan-specific antibodies for phospho-tyrosine were specifically and selectively isolated from the immune serum using a unique technique which makes sure the antibody can be competitively displaced by free phospho-tyrosine. This pan-specific anti-phospho-tyrosine (anti-pY) antibody could recognize the phospho-tyrosine residues on both proteins and peptides. It has proved to be useful for affinity isolation, localization and detection of tyrosine phosphorylated proteins. This antibody could be utilized for immunoprecipitation and affinity enrichment of tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins in cell and tissue lysates. It could be useful for immunoblotting tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins and ELISA quantization of protein tyrosine phosphorylation. It could also be used for non-radioactive tyrosine kinase assay. |

The affinity isolation and enrichment of the tyrosine-phosphorylated species in mouse spleen lysates with anti-phospho-tyrosine antibody (ICP9805), followed by immuno-blotting detection with this antibody conjugated to HRP (ICP9902).

Scientific Description
|
Tyrosine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids used for the biosynthesis of proteins. Kinases phosphorylate tyrosine to phospho-tyrosine which is considered a key step in the regulation of enzymatic activities such as signal transduction.
