Product Description |
PKB gama (AKT3) is a member of the PKB family, which is responsive to cell activation. The anti-AKT3 antibody was raised with a peptide derived from the C-terminal sequence of human AKT3 and affinity purified with the same peptide as the affinity matrix.

Scientific Description |
Protein kinase B or AKT (PKB/AKT) is a serine/threonine kinase. In mammals, three highly homologous members of AKT are PKB alpha (AKT1), PKB beta (AKT2) and PKB gamma (AKT3). These enzymes are involved in important cellular processes such as glucose metabolism, cell proliferation, apoptosis, transcription and cell migration.
