Catalog# Product Description |
ICP1699 d-biotin is a natural vitamin that binds to avidin strongly and irreversibly. This goat anti-biotin antibody was developed and affinity purified using d-biotin on agarose. The antibody binds biotin strongly but reversibly. This antibody has been used for direct, competitive ELISA for quantization of vitamin biotin and western-blot analysis of the biotinylated antibodies and proteins. Immobilized anti-Biotin can also be utilized for reversible isolation, enrichment and affinity purification of biotin and biotin-tag protein/peptides.
