Jun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK) is a member of the mitogen-activatedprotein kinase family, which plays a central role in the regulationof cellular differentiation and proliferation. It also participatesin the regulation of IL-2 and IL-2 receptor gene expression. Over-activation of the c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK) induces cell death.
