Product Description |
Papain is conjugated to agarose bead via amine linkage. The product can be repetitively used as an immobilized papain for various proteolysis applications. It can efficiently hydrolyze antibodies into Fc and Fab fragments.

One gram of purified Goat anti-Mouse IgG (lane 1) was loaded onto the Papain Agarose column (10 mL) at a speed of 0.5 mL/min. The flow-through (lane 2) was subsequently affinity bound to a Mouse IgG Agarose column, and the pure Fab fragment (lane 3) was then purified. |
