This product is designed for testing the activity of a variety of serine/theonine kinases (STK) (see Table 1) and screening the inhibitors/activators of corespondinging kinases. The assay kit is non-radioactive but colorimetric.

The principle of the assay:
The kinase substrates is immobilized onto the 96-well plate. The kinases use ATP to phosphorylate the substrate on the plate. The phosphorylated product is detected by the phospho-substrate specific antibodies. See Figure1 for the principle illustration.
